Focus Group with BME Academics

The Equality & Diversity section and University Race Equality Champions are inviting academics who self-identify as BME to participate in a focus group to understand the lived experiences of staff of diverse ethnic and racial minority backgrounds at Cambridge.

The design of the focus group is guided by the knowledge gained from the analysis of Race Equality Charter staff survey (2017). We are extremely grateful to the many academics that responded to the questionnaire. The results of the survey and focus groups will inform the University race equality action plan to be implemented over the next few years. The results of the focus groups & the survey as well as the draft action plan will be consulted with students and staff in Michaelmas.
